I still own a Nokia, one that was in the very first X-Files film. It's not colour, has no camera and neither is it able to microwave pigeons. With a vast number of different phones on the market I am well and truly out of date with my mobile phone. Kids laugh at me when I'm on the bus.
What should I do?|||i also have an old Nokia. i think it's a 6020. it only rings when it feels like it, even though i haven't got it on silent, sometimes it makes a noise, sometimes it doesn't. i have bought other more up to date ones, but i can't be bothered with all the applications etc. you need a degree in technical engineering to use them. so i always end up going back the old one. i have had it for 8 or 9 years now. it makes a phone call and sends texts, that's all i need. anyway, all these new phones that come out that cost about 拢200, after a couple of months they are down to 50 or 60 quid. waste of money.|||I miss my old nokia. It still works but the screen is all battered. My current thing was only 拢15, but it has a camera and Blueteeth. I hate it. The camera is rubbish and the bluetooth wont talk to my pocket pc. Then the "up" button is sticky, so I have to stab it to scroll through stuff and the "8" is iffy, so texts can be a pain to do as well.
I refuse to spend a bomb on a phone, which just lets people annoy me.|||I also used to own a nokia, had it for years until it got lost. My daughter called it the "brick" but didn't mind using it when she wanted to phone her friends. Ignore the kids who laugh, after all it is only a phone and you know what society is like today, as in people must get the latest gadget or else one is not cool. I actually would laugh to yourself at them.|||I have myself a 拢15 Samsung phone. It does have a camera, and a video recorder. However... I don't have a wire with it to transfer my files, or blue tooth. So it's quite pointless with it coming with both features unless I just like to stare at 'em, or show them off to people... which I highly doubt because the phone screen is really tiny, and I'm ashamed of it. lol.
It does have colour though!... At least mine isn't as bad as yours. I think I'll go away and be grateful now.|||i've got an iphone 3g.
which i spose is out of date compared with phones currently for sale, because it cant do video calls, can't send files through bluetooth, can't video record, it's only got a 2mp camera, the camera doesn't do autofocus and you cant sent a background on the home screen unless you have a 3gs or iphone 4.
what nokia do you have? is it something like the 3310/3330? it was my very first phone... i think the monotone ringtones were the highlight of it lol|||Do you want a phone or a toy .?
Be glad you are not a parent of those kids on the bus who laugh at you. They make their parents buy them the latest, most expensive status symbol that comes out.
I wonder if kids like that will ever contribute anything useful to the economy.|||Do not worry there are multiple companies that provides attractive mobile phones with free gift offers, multi purpose sets like Nokia, Samsung, Sony Erricson, HTC, Apple and more for more info try http://www.3mobileshop.co.uk and research more in google.|||I have a Sharp GX something or other...about 6 years old now. It suits my needs quite adequately so unless I win the lottery and can upgrade to the new Iphone when all the problems are sorted out, I will stick with it to the end!
An ipad wouldn't go amiss though...I can dream can't I..."they" can't take that away from me!!!|||More outdated, mine still has an aerial poking out the top. It's an Alcatel I bought some time in the late 90's and if it's got another name it's not written on it, what's more you don't need fingers the size of pins to use it. If it ain't broke.......|||I have lg Viewty , my 12 y/o daughter has a better phone than me - some flash Nokia blackberry rip off, but I love it even with its dodgy touchscreen
I loved my first Nokia 3310 too, what should you do? dont get it out on the bus|||That was a good choice. You can update it with Nokia 1616. I am using Nokia 1208. Those are good handset. Even though my handset has been hit by malware, there is no information for them to snip.|||I have the HTC desire.
apparently the latest and greatest (pre Iphone 4).
Its crap actually.
Until mobile phone internet connections get much faster they all will be.|||considering that i have the brand new iphone 4, yes, my phone is as out of date as yours... i cant keep a call for 20 seconds|||i have a Gravity 2..its okay.
and get a new phone!
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>|||I recently got a Samsung Jet Ultra, my last three handsets have all been Samsung...can't fault them. If yours is that old maybe it's a museum piece lol....take the plunge and get a new one...|||OPTION 1
Slap those kids on the bus and say "what are you laughing at, you don't have a phone"
OPTION 2
Buy a new phone|||Use it as was intended . As a phone|||samsung J700|||At least no-one will want to nick it!
Mine's a new Nokia.|||Antiques Road Show, it could be worth a fortune. LOL|||Ewww...you mean you actually get it out in public!!?
