Will any T-mobile phone work if I switch to a t-mobile prepaid plan?

I have used a Nokia with T-mobile for the past few years, but want to switch to a prepaid plan. At the same time, I want to upgrade to a bluetooth capable phone. The "prepaid" phones at T-mobile are few, so I am wondering if I can purchase any T-mobile branded phone, and still use it on my prepaid plan.|||you can use any t mobile phone with t mobile so long as the person who has the phone prior to you hasn't had it swapped to another network, hope this helps
