How do I transfer music to my Virgin Mobile phone?

Okay, my aunt gave me one of those little things that plug your phone into a computer. I have a Kyocera Loft, carrier- Virgin Mobile. I don't have a san disk, memory card, and my phone didn't come with any CD ROM disks.
