How do celebrities keep their personal mobile phone numbers secret?

Every celebrity like movie stars, foot ball players.... etc have a lot of friends, relatives, support staff, sponsors, media people, officials of various companies and government etc who interact with them. They all happen to know the personal mobile phone number of the celebrity. Then how come it is not leaked to the common man on the street. How do they manage to keep it a secret?|||simple. they don't give their numbers out to strangers. and to those that they do give their numbers out to, they not the type to backstab them because their relationship means something. it would be a breach of conduct for all others|||Usually they have several phones.. a "work" number, a "personal" number, and an extra line or two for family, other business ect. Their personal number is only given out to the people closest to them..

And, sometimes their numbers ARE leaked - and than changed immediately. I remember a few months ago, someone hacked into a celebrity agent's blackberry and leaked 35 phone numbers (all famous people, I believe Lady GaGa and Lebron James was on that list as well).

However.. if your smart (and sneaky) the average joe CAN get the phone number to a celebrity. When I was in the 6th grade, I (somehow by the grace of god) managed to get the phone number to AJ Mclean from the backstreet boys just by using the operator on a pay-phone. (my girls and I had the biggest crush on him). It took several tries, and about $3 in quarters, but by using the basic information the celebrities give in their interviews, you can find out a lot.. All we had to go on was his mothers first and last name, home town and birth-date. When we called her, we asked if "Aj was home". She asked us how we got her number, and said that he wasn't home, and that we shouldn't be calling %26amp; told us we should be in school. We never actually spoke to him directly, but it was pretty cool none-the-less. We tried the same tactic a few weeks later with a few more of our friends, and the operator told us their number had been put on a privacy/do not call list.. so they would no longer accept out-of-area calls. :(|||One thing probably don't do is answer the phone unless the call is

from somebody on their phonebook and rely on their voicemail a

lot.|||They change their numbers regularly, and only give the new numbers to people who can be trusted.|||They actually leak it out strategically.|||They probably have 2 or more phones!!!
