I ordered a Virgin mobile phone online and when I tried to activate it I was told by Virgin mobile that Walmart would have to "unlock" it.When I got in contact with Walmart, they said that Virgin mobile would have to "unlock" the phone. I really like THIS phone and the only store that has THIS phone is like 16 miles away and I can't travel that far.So if anyone knows any fancy tricks or other solutions to this nerve wrecking problem please let me know.|||I bought my virgin mobile from Kmart (which is Walmart in America) and it was locked to the virgin network. All I did was put the virgin sim card in it which I didn't activate and went to a virgin kiosk at a shopping centre and told them I wanted to unlock the phone but I hadn't acivated the sim card yet. They took my phone and entered a few codes into it and unlocked it...and they did it for free!! I thought I would have to pay the unlocking fee! Hope this helps.|||I have great information for you
