I will like to know the protocol that mobile phone carry on in order to creat a link, basicly i know the phone connect to an antela, then that antena connect to as many as needed to the server that let calls in and out, what i like to understan is if it work as a massive WIFI network by bridging a crazy amount of access points???.|||I don't know about the USA, but in EU every cell is somehow connected with cables to their whole network. They like us to believe that every cell is connected wireless, but it's not the case.
There are many methods of connecting the cells and they vary from company to company.
